POSITIVE CANINES
Force Free and Effective
At Positive Canines, my primary focus is always the dog. My mission is to educate dog owners on understanding canine body language and how dogs communicate. Through years of working closely with dogs and observing their behaviour, I always ask, "Why is this dog exhibiting this behaviour?" Understanding the root cause is the first step in resolving any issue.
My journey with dogs began in 2019 at K9 Collective, a Doggy Day-care, where I worked my way up to Senior Supervisor. During my time there, I discovered my passion for dog behaviour, especially through managing groups of up to 15 dogs and observing their interactions.
In addition to my work at K9 Collective, I volunteered at Better Life Animal Sanctuary in York and Lansdale Farm in Lansdale, further expanding my experience with animals.
In 2023, I began working at the Dog’s Refuge Home, where I serve as a Dog Trainer, Kennel Hand, and Foster Coordinator. I am deeply passionate about rescue dogs and all breeds, and I am dedicated to helping dogs in need.
To further my expertise, I completed my Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training, which has empowered me to embark on this incredible journey and continue making a positive impact on the lives of dogs and their owners.
